Project Spotlight: Central Tank Battery (CTB) Expansion – Koniag Energy & Water, through its subsidiary Big G Electric, successfully completed an extensive Central Tank Battery (CTB) expansion project. This project involved upgrading a site to accommodate a new three-well pad and an additional well on an existing pad. The upgrades included installing three-phase separators, water transfer pumps, oil and water storage tanks, and essential instrumentation. The team also laid new cable trays, conduit, supports, and wiring, ensuring seamless integration of the new devices and equipment.
The Big G Electric team showcased exceptional planning and execution, working efficiently under challenging conditions, including high H2S areas. They sourced all necessary materials, installed over a mile of fiber optic cable, and collaborated closely with client personnel to determine and install the needed PLC equipment. Their meticulous approach and problem-solving skills ensured the project was completed safely, on time, and within budget.
